Emiliano Pari nasce a Roma nel 1973,Pianista Cantante Compositore e Arrangiatore si diploma all’universita’ della musica di Roma in Pianoforte Jazz . La sua carriera musicale ha inizio dapprima come tastierista per varie formazioni JAZZ e R&B, per poi proseguire come Pianista- Cantante solista,riproponendo brani di artisti come Rufus Thomas,Stevie Wonder,Wilson Pickett ,George Benson ed altri capostipiti della scena Soul Statunitense. Dopo numerose esperienze con diverse formazioni,collaborazioni con noti artisti della scena italiana, e dopo molti concerti nei piu’ famosi clubs italiani(The Place , Alexander Platz ,Circolo degli Artisti,Fillmore,Urban,etc) ,approda finalmente alla realizzazione del suo primo album da solista,dal titolo A New Morning. Questo disco, interamente autoprodotto, e’ una sintesi delle sue principali influenze(Funk,Soul,Jazz e Blues)rielaborate e personalizzate attraverso il linguaggio del song-writer. I brani sono stati pensati per un organico ricco(sezione fiati e percussioni su molti)ma essenziale nel contempo,con largo spazio a ritmiche incalzanti e ipnotiche,tipiche della piu’ rigorosa tradizione funk afroamericana. La cifra stilistica di Emiliano trova connotazione in un pianismo essenzialmente ritmico e minimale,passando dal Fender Rhodes al piano acustico,a supporto di una voce a volte piu’ funky,a volte piu’ intimista ed emozionale.

Emiliano Pari was born in Rome in 1973. A pianist, singer, composer and arranger, he graduated in jazz piano at the university of music in Rome. He started his musician's career as session man with various jazz and r'n'b bands, then continued as solo pianist / singer proposing covers of Rufus Thomas, Stevie Wonder, Wilson Pickett, George Benson and other masterpieces of US soul music. After gaining a solid experience with a number of bands, cooperating with well-known Italian artists and holding several concerts in the most famous Italian clubs (The Place, Alexanderplatz, Circolo degli Artisti, Fillmore, Urban, etc.) he finally recorded his first solo album, entitled A New Morning. This album, entirely self-produced, is a summary of the sound that most influenced him (funk, soul, jazz and blues), re-processed and personalised through the language of a song-writer. The tracks are rich (many of them have wind and drum instrumentation) and essential at the same time. Much room is given to pressing and hypnotic rhythms, typical of the purest African-American funk tradition. Emiliano's style finds its place in an essentially rhythmic and minimal piano playing, from the Fender Rhodes to acoustic piano; his vocals are sometimes more on the funky side, some others more intimate and emotional.
