Her 2007 release The Very Thought Of You, a work which saw the singer come into her own, topped the Canadian jazz charts and earned her a nomination for a Juno Award in the category of Vocal Jazz Album of the Year. Emilie-Claire's performance of Alex Kramer's "There Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens " at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala was nominated for a Gemini Award in the same year.
In March of 2009, she released her much anticipated 7th studio album, the positively stylish Haven't We Met?, which jumped to 1 on the Jazz charts in Canada and topped the iTunes Jazz charts around the world.
