I was removed from the womb in Portland Oregon and spent my childhood moving around from place to place with my bohemian parents. I moved to Northern California when i was 12 and presided in Talmage for all my highschool years. I attended many hippie schools. "i made friends with everybody and anybody by creating chaos and uproar wherever i went." My teachers taught me to be creative and i was really interested in writing and acting as a child. When i was growing up my mother was a ballet teacher and i spent most of my young life on stage. I grew up in a very different world than most children do but i guess thats true for most people. I spent my time playing in the garden believing in faries and other mythical things my innocent mind rapidly turned into my reality i soon realized that the world is not as beautiful and lovely as story books make it seem. I got into trouble with the government and drugs and alcohol as i entered my teen years and realized that music was my escape and the only thing i had to channel out energy. I traveled to Cambodia and worked with child prostitution at 15 and came back to the states a very different person. I’ve loved , I’ve lost, I’ve learned, I’ve lived, and i still have so much life left to live. I currently reside in the valley of the potter on the left side of kates bed I spend my days writing, singing, and in Kates words "learning what I can by taking in what i see" Life is just a series of moments. what you make of them is your choice. I’am Emilie Wilcox.

Hey there! I don't know if you've been tuning in to KMEC lately, but I played your material on my show last Saturday. All your songs in a row. :) Well, you haven't been on line much. Hope everything's okay. If you have any more material let me know. I'd love to play more of your material!
