April 2004 Miguel Marin is back in London from a two months living and
working in Warsaw (Poland).Marin has the idea of starting a label and more
likely a Platform where people will be able to combine music and visual
arts.
Marin along Nela and Marco Iavarone starts working on promoting the label
across Europe.
April 2005 Emilii records starts its first night of electronic and minimal
sounds together with images at the Anam Bar in Angel -London- becoming a
monthly night and featuring different artists like Arbol, Markus, Emitex
and Dwight fry among many others.
May 2005 Arbol and Markus are invited to Dj back to back at cafe 1001
brick lane in London and later same month at P-ki P-ki night at the Rhythm factory in London.
June 2005 "Lejos discos" spanish indie label together with emilii records
releases worldwide "Dreams made of paper", arbol's second album. Miguel Mar..n (ex-piano magic and Sr.Chinarro) who for past four years has been working in severals video installations, films and theatre performances with the likes of Bigas Luna, Jean Nouvel and Leo obstbaum has completed a collection of 14 imaginary soundtracks featuring different guests like Suzy Mangion (George), Eugenie Garrett.
The album gets good support from the media in Spain and Europe as well
Japan and USA being album of the month on the music website www.desconcerto.com
At present emiliirecords continue organising nights and events around
Europe as well as getting ready a compilation that we involve artists like
E-da aka City kamper, Markus, Arbol and Fuxa among many others.
July 2006 Alessio Campo who has previously organized, as part of esterni,
festivals such as Milano Film Festival and Audiovisiva in Milan Italy joined emilii's team.
