This girl is seriously the sweetest, most genuine girl you will ever meet. I’m so incredibly lucky to have someone who loves me the way she does.
I love being the person who can make her smile even if she's having the worst day ever. I love when she gets all bashful and flustered, it's quite possibly the most adorable thing in the entire world.

(!) Hi, my name is Emily and I cry when people try to make me eat purple cabbage. (Tasha says it's because I may be a crybaby) I say it's because purple cabbage is poisonous.
(!) I love my girlfriend. She's amazing and makes me so incredibly happy. Be jealous. ;)
(!) I’m a lesbian and, contrary to what you may think, that does not mean I hate men. It means I love women. And all those other stereotypes you may have heard? Ignore them. I pride myself on my ability to defy those stereotypes when people least expect it. So please don’t assume you know me because you know who I love.
(!) My girlfriend lives in Indiana. She’s amazing and I’m so lucky to have her in my life. October 27th will be our one year anniversary and I’ve never been happier. <33
(!) I'll be the first person to give you my jacket if you're cold, even if I'm freezing too. I will do anything to protect the people I love.
(!) I love people who are passionate about things. It takes a really strong person to care about something or someone so much that they actually get excited just talking about that thing. You learn a lot about someone by what they are passionate about.
(!) On a similar note, I have a tendency of “geeking out”. This happens when instead of giving a simple answer I go into detailed tirades about things as if I’ve thought about them entirely too long. It’s because I probably have. (Often the subject is young people, politics, gay rights, music, or anything love related.)
(!) You'll realize that I am the kind of person who falls hard and fast...I don't think it's because I'm too quick to fall in love, I just know what I want and when I see it I know.
(!) I’m a Senior at the University of Minnesota and will graduate in December with a B.S. in Youth Studies. I’m an assistant teacher at a daycare and work with kids that somehow make me smile, even when they drive me insane. I’m a teaching assistant (co-facilitator) for a course on Images of Youth at the University of Minnesota and I absolutely LOVE it.

Someday I will open my own youth center so every single child I work with can have the opportunity to express themselves creatively and have an outlet, a place where they can feel safe and free to be themselves. I’m very passionate about my major, if you want to know more I am more than willing to talk to you about it.
(!) Life changes fast and I'm just trying to keep up.
(!) Every day I find out a little more about who I am-and that’s the way I like it.
(!) Vampires are my favorite fictional characters. I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve seen every single episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (more than once.) When all the other little girls wanted to be teachers and doctors and dancers, I wanted to be a vampire.

(!) I hate ignorant people. Especially those who try to tell me I’m going to hell. You don’t know me. Don’t use your twisted ideas of right and wrong as a means to judge my character.
(!) I love to discuss politics. But if you can’t discuss politics in a respectful, intelligent way then don’t bother.
I hate stereotypes. I hate feet and popcorn. I'm scared of heights, dying alone, spiders, and losing my memory.
