| | Music | Too many choices, Working as a music therapist, you're constantly working with ALL types of music. You think you don't like a kind of music, and then it's going to be a client preferred music... you learn it, you realize it's not that bad. This isn't true in all cases, but i've discovered lots of my new favorite groups this way!
I am well know, however, for being a music critic... hard core. I love going to shows, and I analyze what they are doing musically. I was into Jazz well before i got into jam bands and the like. I'm not impressed by getting louder and thicker on the same two chords to build a climax....
But i love music, it's what makes my heart keep beating to keep my blood flowing through my body! It's my passion and my profession.
 | | Movies | I like the old classics, the black and whites, the westerns, and the geeky movies... you know what they are! | | Television | Well, I've never fancied myself as much of a TV person, but I recently have acquired a tv, 2 in fact. I have a 13" Montgomery Wards one with rabbit ears ideal for watching sports...but I learned it will be obsolete soon... And I purchased a 13" TV with a dvd player to watch movies... and the simpsons :) | | Books | wow, lots.... I dig books, this is a lot like the music for me, can't really say. Ask me if you want to know and I'll tell you my most recent favorite :)

About me:
I'm from Lexington, KY, wildcat country, hell yeah! I graduated from CSU studying music therapy, neurologic music therapy to be more exact, so I get to put lots of letters after my name. Emily Bailey NMT, MT-BC. It makes me feel important. Watch out! I've got big plans for myself, but what it is hasn't been worked out yet! I want to save the world, or at least one person, well you know how that goes. I've read too much Faulkner and enjoy writing stream of conscious... sorry. I love the outdoors, a lot, like whole lot. I keep trying new things as i meet new people that introduce me to new experiences. Finished 7 months of exploring southern California throughout my internship. Made it back safely to Fort Collins, CO instead of tracking back to Kentucky. Got a house, a dog, and my bed...so i'm a happy camper being back in the Fort. I'm light hearted most all the time, but tend to guard my emotions with thick armor. I love rambling, and digging my toes into dirt. Those ARE related.

Who I'd like to meet:
well it would be cool to meet Beethoven, or Kokepelli, that would be cool. I would like to meet Giorgio de'Chirico and ask his what is the poet's muse... Get dirty, live a little. I'm totally interested in REAL people, don't hide yourself behind an image of what you think people want you to be, ever!
