Emily’s vocal ability was evident at an early age. Her joy of singing and her unique sound led to many performing opportunities including Fiddler on the Roof, Peter Pan, Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie and Oliver. She was featured in Northwestern University’s Dolphin Show production of Gypsy and was also the female lead in the Braeside Opera production of A Noteworthy Tale. Based on her success, she was one of the fortunate few chosen to perform with Eileen Boever’s Traveling Troupe at the Apple Tree Theatre. Emily has been writing poetry since the age of 5. Her love for music and writing along with managing her busy schedule has helped her transition into the prolific songwriter she is today. From singing her own melody and lyrics in the kitchen to collaborating in the studio at age 12 with some of the world’s finest musicians, Emily is destined for success. This past year has been jam-packed with new experiences and exciting opportunities. Emily had the honor of being selected by the Illinois Music Educators Association to participate in its annual statewide vocal performance competition, as well as landed the featured role of Maggie in A Chorus Line. Emily has also made her mark on the club scene, performing in Singer Spotlight, one of the nation’s premier vocal showcases. With nearly 1.5 million plays and counting, Emily is accomplishing her goal of sharing her music with peers around the world.
