...."SECOND"...Riot House is a "ROCK BAND" that happens to
play cover songs!!!
When you come out to see us, you will understand what that
means! On entering the club, you'll notice that if you didn't come early, there
are no seats left,( make a note for next time). As you look around, you will
wonder, who are all these people, and what have I been missing out on? Then
the lights come on...the music starts, and you say"wow, they're playing
one of my favorite songs"(something you will repeat, over an over, all
night long)!
The drums...then guitars...then "EMILY SHARBANI" on vocals
takes over. She's a New York transplant with a 4 octive range, belting out AC/DC,
Zeppelin, as well as Gwen Steffani and Alanis Morrisette. "RAY VERMOESEN"
a Belgium native, adds his "Euro Metal" guitar sound to Dokken, Velvet
Revolver and Nickleback. The big drums on songs like Dirty Deeds, Barracuda,
and Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker can be blamed on "RICK HOWARD", a Florida
refugee. On bass.... it's a new guy named "MIKE PLISKY"...maybe he's somebody
you know? Together they create an "explosion" of music, that tonite,
takes you on a journey from "Montrose" to the "Crue", "Pink"
to the "Chili Peppers". As you can't wait to hear the next song, it
all becomes perfectly clear..."RIOT HOUSE IS A ROCK BAND" that happens
to play cover songs! The "perfect" combination!....
