Egon and Oly Need a home
Dear Pals, It's not often that i reach out in a public forum for things regarding my personal life, but this is just too serious of a situation not to. I have two incredible LA based pitbulls and they need a new home home. (It's a long story)... Even if it's temporary, even if you can foster or know someone who might be able to. They've been raised together since infancy, brother and sister. Obviously in the best world, they would stay together, but if that's not possible it's better than them sitting in a shelter. They're both fixed, purebred, about 6 years old. Please pass along to anyone and everyone. I will pay to have them flown anywhere in the US. I'm gonna post some pictures for you to check out. Calgary Folk Festival, Passenger, tour tour
Hey pals, So we played the Calgary folk music festival a week or so ago and boy oh boy it was fantastic! Besides being welcomed like no other by the sweetest Canadians on the planet, I think my favorite part was getting to collaborate with some of our new pals. If you haven't been to a folk festival... which up until last week I had not, you might not be familiar with "the workshop". Which is basically 4 bands or artists cramming onto a stage, usually not knowing each other at all, and playing music together on the spot, in front of people. I was a bit intimidated by this prospect but it turned out to be the most exciting and memorable part of the trip for me. Kid Koala for example... yum yum... plus His solo set was stunning... and playing with Bell Orchestra... and getting to sing one of my favorite songs of 08 with Chad Vangaalen, "Willow Tree". Playing on our old pal Mirah's songs... woww. Anyway... we've got this new tune called "passenger" that is yet to be released but a lot of you seem to want a little more than we can give you by driving to your town to play. This video was taken in Calgary during the festival. It's pretty decent sound quality so I thought you might enjoy. Midwest we're coming to you... New York to follow!
