EminentMP, INC officially known as Eminent Modeling & Promotions is an in-demand company with headquarters in Dallas , TX . The company began in 2002 when its founder and CEO Ebony J asked a club DJ to give a shout out to Eminent models. Eminent had only one model at that time in and out of the club, Ebony J. Then she began handing out thousands of fliers at clubs, beauty salons and barbershops to promote the company. Ebony J’s personal mantra then and now is that urban modeling can be a platform to inspire individuals to reach their full potential with sound advice, constructive critiques, and support for career longevity. Ebony J has inspired others to follow behind and start up and coming modeling groups around the DFW area, but be aware Eminent is no match. Ebony J states “Eminent MP is a company, not a group doing this as a hobby.” Though the company started as an urban outfitter for the modeling and promotions industry it is evolving to be a comprehensive company that services all corporate, commercial, and niche specific needs.

Ebony J did a number of print ads, promotional projects and feature role’s in up and coming urban artist music videos. Ebony J’s modeling career did not start as a hopeful on “ America ’s Next Top Model.” Despite always being admired for her beauty Ebony J started modeling after giving birth to twins. While this life changing experience might have stopped would be model’s in their heels Ebony J used it to catapult her career and business. While Ebony J knows that God orders her footsteps she attributes much of her success to her mother Beverly who always told her that nobody could limit her without her permission. Besides being a proud mother and “Nanna” Beverly serves as the VP and Model Coordinator at Eminent. She was responsible for coordinating a lingerie fashion show at the fourth annual Texas Music Conference with 1,500 people in attendance and 12,000 views in less than two weeks on YouTube.

Eminent may have started with one model but has grown into a formidable team including, a Vice-President of Operations, Talent Development and New Faces Director. These are not mere “power girls” but women who are taking the Southwest by storm with their eyes towards national campaigns.

Raffinae, Eminent VP of Operations and a graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in business and alternative dispute resolution. Raffinae is a business women, bombshell, and mother. With her drive and determination she was a standout to Eminent at the Texas Summer Music Conference. She started out as an intern with Eminent but in a short time gained a position. Raffinae has experience in set design and will bring her intensity and attention to detail as she sets the stage for business strategies to assist in the overall direction of the Eminent organization.

Lamonica Savage, was born and raised in Louisiana and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe . She moved to Dallas in 2003 and started modeling in late 2004. After taking part in several videos, artist album shoots, and a spread as a fitness model in a Christian magazine she decided to recruit talent for the company. She never lost her passion for runway and prints and serves as a runway coach for up and coming models. Lamonica’s walk with God has kept her every turn and strut on the straight and narrow runway of life.

Ki Ki J, a local celebrated radio personality with formidable six-year tenure has partnered with Eminent from its inception. Along with her obvious notoriety she brings an alliance with music industry knowledge. Her radio career began with her answering phones at the station. Through her persistence and arduous efforts, Ki Ki J currently hosts “Street Swagg Sunday,” a radio show that highlights independent R&B and Hip Hop artist. With her access to up and coming talent and her own experience she understands the immediacy of Eminent’s talent to get discovered and for the organization overall to be in the national spotlight. Mic Moodswing knew that Ki Ki J and Ebony J were one of a kind and a powerful match. As an industry standout, many individuals with the next “big idea” approach Ki Ki J but Eminent was different. In her eyes Eminent had the models, the skills, and the blueprint to dominate Dallas and radiate throughout the Southwest and eventually the national market. Ki Ki J shares the common goal of Ebony J and the Eminent organization to be in control of their careers and for business to always be carried out in a professional manner. Although Ki Ki J was never a model she was intrigued with an industry that requires talent, an entrepreneur work ethic, and integrity. In Eminent’s aspirations to be a comprehensive company it has launched a male division. Corie Raypyburn, a top male model heads the division and is the newest addition to the Eminent arsenal. With six years of experience in runway modeling and movies Corie brings a seasoned approach to scouting and booking top male talent. Corie knows he will help Eminent establish a name in the male arena by introducing and mentoring male models with interest in high fashion that offer a unique look.

The company has been touted as having a strong level of competency observed in the professionalism and poise of its models and efficiency of its administration. Eminent offers a broad range of talent in the form of: Runway, Fashion, Print, Promotion, and Commercial, Radio, and Film. Eminent has supplied modeling talent for the Texas Summer Music Conference, Apple Bottoms, Seagram’s Gin, and T-Town Records to name a few. It was at the 4th annual Texas Summer Music Conference when Eminent arrived on the industry scene with supporters such as Mic Moodswing.

One example of Eminent’s talent is 22-year-old Mesha Williams a native of Moreno Valley , CA now residing in Desoto , TX . Mesha has been modeling for three years and recently won the Digital Dime Piece Swimsuit Competition, where she was awarded a spread in the Source Magazine. As an Eminent veteran, Mesha has stated that she loves that Eminent stands out above the rest and that no urban modeling company in Dallas has come close to what they are doing. Mesha is not standing in line like many model hopefuls but has quickly moved up the ranks at Eminent and serves at the executive assistant to Ebony J. Ebony J has established Eminent to be a toolkit for models to learn the business and not just a one-time gig.
