Well of course our biggest influence are the fans that support our music and keep us playing! Emish is from Orange County, NY and loves doing what they do. They were voted the "Best Local Band of 2007" in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Region and are very thankful for such wonderful fans that voted them to be the best!
Emish finished their debut album, "This Light" in May 2007 with the fabulous Mark Dann up in Woodstock, NY. Check out more sound clips from this album at cdbaby.com/cd/emish. After rave reviews from their first recording, Emish released their second album, "One More Round" in November 2008.
Emish also had the pleasure of featuring a piece written by Mr. Alexander Safford on "This Light". The band loved his composition, and "emishified" it to make what you hear on track 5, a song entitled Fury.
