Well of course our biggest influence are the fans that support our music and keep us playing! However, lately it's been a tie with our bass player, Mike. We love to see what the next show will bring out in Mike's hair. So here you have it folks, the hair of Mr. Mikey Intranuovo.

Emish is from Orange County, NY and loves doing what they do. They were recently voted the "Best Local Band of 2007" in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Region and are very thankful for such wonderful fans that voted them to be the best!

Emish also had the pleasure of featuring a piece written by Mr. Alexander Safford. The fiddle player Christy worked with him as a student teacher, and has always admired his compositions. Once she heard Folk Tune Air and Fiddlers Fury, she knew it had to be incorporated into Emish. The band also loved the piece, and "emishified" it to make what you hear on track 5 of This Light, a song entitled Fury. Paul and I went to a party in Attica yesterday and Mark Dzielski (Sound guy for everyone) was playing Emish before the band went on and it was great to hear that cause I never thought I would be at a party and hear the whole Emish CD played!!! I hope you all are doing good and had a great Father's Day. Miss you all!
