I'm a 20-year-old singer/songwriter from London, currently studying Fine Art Painting at Manchester Metropolitan University. I mostly perform original songs, which i have written and composed myself. Songs which have been labeled 'Honest and confessional' in a review by Quenched Music. I have written poetry since i was 7. I was taught cello and piano as a child and when i was 16 decided to teach myself guitar, which led me to combining my music with my poetry and composing songs. Musicians I grew up hearing, such as Enya, Everything But The Girl, The Corrs, and Carol King were early influences on my music. More recent influences are musicians such as, Joshua Radin, John Mayer, Marie Digby and Deb Talan, are also reflected in my music. These are all musicians who sing about raw emotions arising from real events in life, which is a really important part of my music. To me each song is like another chapter in my life. The main thing I always keep in mind about my music is the reason I started was because it was something I loved doing, and I never want to lose that aspect.
