On the 9th December 2001 Emma performed her first solo acoustic gig, and has since gone on to carve out a reputation for herself as a fine and much in demand singer songwriter. She has been compared with artists like PJ Harvey, Suzanne Vega and Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays. Her first solo demo was recorded by Chris Thomson from The Bathers (ex member of For Love or money) in 2001, and as a result she has gone on to support various artists including: James Grant, Fish, Midge Ure, Duke Special, Frank Turner, Rose Kemp, Astrid Williamson, The Wrigley Sisters and many more. In 2011 Emma performed at The Tall Ships in Greenock on the Sugar Sheds stage and at L Fest. Emma Forman is a singer songwriter from Scotland. She is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, bass, vocals, piano, drums, trumpet and cornet. Emma has performed in several bands in the past including:

Bad karma, Piston Broke, Baby Karma, The Awkwards, Those Valentinos, Medusa's Curse, Rocketfox, and The Deviadas

In 2001 Emma began to perform as a solo artist after Chris Thomson from The Bathers recorded a solo demo for her.
