My name is Emma Hunter, if you didn't catch that. I bought an acoustic guitar off of ebay for $15 in 2005 and I've been writing and recording demos ever since. I've been obsessed with music my entire life, and it's a beautiful feeling to express myself using that medium. I'm working on material for my first EP entitled "California's Calling", with hopes to release it either late 2009 or early 2010. I provide 100% of my own funding which is why the project is going a little slowly, but surely. I'm currently on my family's independent label, and I'm not sure if I'll be pursuing anything beyond that. I'm just happy to write and sing about whatever I'm feeling, it's a privilege.

I always have this fear while adjusting strings on my guitars (or any guitars for that matter, my week has been full of them) that a string will break and hit me in the eye.
But not you Emma Hunter, you roll up that fear, into a giant, "Fear of Guitar Strings Smacking Me In The Eye" Ball and you RUN WITH IT. You. RUN. WITH IT. You create jamz with ALL six strings, not 5 because deep down inside you're scared to replace the strings, because new strings probably hurt more than old worn down strings. SIX STRINGS EMMA. SIX.
