Emmanuelle Caplette a fait ses débuts dans les corps de tambours et clairons dès l’âge de 9 ans. Pendant plus de 8 ans, elle a joué de la caisse claire au sein de différents groupes du Québec. C’est lors de ces années qu'elle remporta plusieurs prix dont la première place au Championnat Individuel Provincial d’Interprétation du Québec et ce, 4 ans de suite. À son entrée au CEGEP de Drummondville, elle étudia la batterie pop/jazz avec Camil Bélisle. Dès sa première année, elle remporta, avec son duo Drumologues, le prix de l’OFQJ (Office-Franco Québécois pour la jeunesse) au concours "CEGEP en Spectacle" de 2001. Avec ce même duo, elle a fait l’Ouverture du Drum Fest de Montréal en 2002. En 2003, au même festival, elle fut choisie pour représenter le CEGEP de Drummondville au concours Rising Star. Suite à l'obtention de son diplôme collégial, elle décida de poursuivre ses études à l’Université de Montréal en interprétation pop/jazz avec Paul Brochu. À la fin de sa première année de baccalauréat, elle fut engagée pour faire la tournée américaine de la troupe Cavalia, dont la musique a été composée par Michel Cusson.

Après Cavalia, Emmanuelle s'est jointe à la troupe de percussion Insolita en mars 2006. Créé par Robert Dethier, Insolita est inspiré par la musique World Beat et propose un amalgame de percussions, de batteries et d'effets spéciaux. Elle passa ensuite l’été aux Légendes Fantastiques de Drummondville, où elle en était à sa 3ième année.

L’année 2007 fut le début d’une grande aventure pour Emmanuelle. Elle réalisa plusieurs objectifs tel que de jouer à la télévision et faire de la tournée. Elle participa deux années de suite en tant que batteure au Gala des Jutras, à la Fête Nationale de la St-Jean-Baptiste (de Montréal), le Gala du Grand Rire Bleu et ce, animé par Normand Brathwaite. Cette même année, elle fut appelée pour performer aux tournées des chanteuses Ima (Smile) et Marilou (Tout Simplement).

En 2008, Emmanuelle fut engagée pour jouer dans une toute nouvelle émission pour enfants avec Annie Brocoli à Radio-Canada: “Le Broco Show”. Cette participation lui a permis de rencontrer des gens extraodinaires, dont un grand réalisateur québécois: Guy Tourville. Ce dernier lui a donné sa première chance pour enregistrer ses deux premiers “single” radio “Une fois pour toutes” de Marie-Chantal Toupin et “Tu ne m’aimeras” plus de Cindy Daniel. Elle a ensuite participer à l’enregistrement complet de l’album du Broco Show.

Emmanuelle Caplette made her debut at the age of 9 years old with the drum corps. For eight years she played snares with different groups from Quebec. It is during this years that she won many awards including first place at the Provincial individual Championship Interpretation of Quebec, for four consecutive years. Upon her entry at Drummondville College, she studied drums in pop/jazz style with Camil Bélisle.

2001 was her first year at Drummondville College she participated at the "Cégep en spectacle" and won the prestigious award of l'OFQJ ( Office Franco Québécois pour la jeunesse) with her duo Drummologue. In 2002, She opened the Montreal Drum Festival with her duo.

In 2003 she was chosen to represent Drummondville college in a rising star contest at the Montreal Drumfest. Following her college diploma she decided to continue her studies at the University of Montreal in pop/jazz interpretation with Paul Brochu. At the end of her first year at the University Emmanuelle was hired by the troop Cavalia (for American tour) which was composed by Michel Cusson.

2006 was the end of Cavalia tour, Emmanuelle joined the percussion troop Insolita created by Robert Dethier, Insolita was inspired by the music of World Beat ans proposes a mixed of percussions, batteries and special effects.

The big adventure started for Emmanuelle in 2007 with the realization of her objectives, she got the opportunity to play drums on television and go on different tours, she participated two years in a row at the "Gala des Jutras", she also played drums at Quebec's National Day ( St-Jean-baptiste ) The host was Normand Bratwaite. The same year she went on tour with IMA (Smile) and Marilou ( Tout simplement).
