ANNOUNCEMENT: The 2008 Student Horror Film Festival is Official, the date is November 1st at Eyer Middle School in Macungie, PA. Information about this year's festival are now posted on our website! Are you strong enough? Can you create a film in 96 hours using required lines and themes for cash and prizes? Represent your school, go to www.emmausarts.org for more information. The festival kicks-off on October 10th at 6:00 pm. This years event is sponsored by Metromix, PeachPit Press, PA Council of the Arts and Olympus. If you cannot make the kickoff meeting the rules and regulations will be posted on our site. You can email us a compressed version of your film and then mail us the original DVD but they have to match!
The 3rd Annual Student Horror Film Festival WINNERS are listed below. Congratulations to all the winners of our film festival. Please go to our YouTube page to see some of the fine work that was produced in 74-hours.
They had only 74-hours to create, shoot and edit their films. The festival began October 11th at 6:00 pm at 800 Pine St, in Emmaus, PA and the festival showing was October 21st.
Films were then judged by a panel of professionals and the winning films were shown in the Emmaus Theater which was followed by an awards ceremony. This is a family friendly event so the films are required to meet strict rules and regulations.
