Singer/Songwriter EMME is the unique mixture of sexy Madonna, soulful Joss Stone with the style and the charismatic attitude of Gwen Stefani and Natasha Bedingfield. Whether it is writing or collaborating new songs for upcoming artists, performing at charity events and parties around the country, Los Angeles based EMME always sings and writes soulful, catchy melodies. EMME has a sound that is appealing to both American and European pop markets. For EMME, the joy of songwriting truly comes from observing the world around her and writing melodies and lyrics that communicate these observations. EMME a trained dancer from the age of 3, has appeared with the Eugene Ballet company and continues to perform with dance companies. Inspired by her grandfather, Dr. James Misch, a well-known bass and guitar player in the 1940's, EMME learned guitar and piano. EMME's exposure to a wide range of music including classical and rock'n roll has enhanced her sense of melody and rhythm. EMME has appeared in commercials, the AMC channel, Parade Magazine and has modeled for several Los Angeles based catalogs and designers. EMME has performed with N'Vision, (Executive Producer, JUJU Beats)at the 2005" Angels on the Fairway", and has contributed her original music/vocals to PSA's, independent films, and recent television shows through The Producer's Lab of Los Angeles. After EMME spent time in Croatia she arrived to New York and began working with producer Vasili Gavre(K.I.D. Recordings). Their first song, "Do You Have a Girlfriend." received so much attention on myspace and from dj's they decided to make an album. The powerful presence of her musicality, unforgettable vocals and original material make EMME an artist you will continue to hear about and always enjoy listening too. ..
