Em worked with producer/songwriter Lance Tolbert, bass player with Mariah Carey and producer/songwriter with The Order Corp with J. Edmonds in Los Angeles. Together they wrote and recorded the original song "Dreams." Em recently won first place in the annual Bloomington Human Rights Commission's Art & Essay contest with her original song called "When We're all in, We all win."
In May of 2007, Em headlined a gospel concert in Chicago, also featuring Beverly Yvette, True Praise Chorale and more, for the benefit of the Support L.I.F.E. cancer charity at the United House of Prayer.
In March of 2008, Em spent 10 days in NYC and met up with Ankh Ra Amenhetep, vocal coach for the "Makin’ the Bands" acts Danity Kane and Day 26. Em returned from a visit to Detroit, last summer (2008) where she met the ultimate lady, Ms. Martha Reeves, formerly of Motown and spent some time with her and Ms. Maxine Powell. Em had the opportunity to perform at the world famous "Bert’s" with some amazing jazz musicians!
In February 2009, Em began working with Ankh Ra Amenhetep, her new vocal coach in NYC.
Currently Em travels back and forth to NC where she is working with the Dream Team at Common Ground Music.

Em Taylor Creative Pop/R&B Artist with a unique sound of her own.
As a natural born entertainer, the 14 year old singer/songwriter, Em Taylor, began performing at the age of 5 starring in the leading role of the regional theater production of "Annie" in Orlando, FL. Em also sang regularly with the Indiana University Children's Choir. Additionally, Em Taylor at her young age is fluently bi-lingual in English and Spanish. She has participated in several local, regional, and national talent competitions, which you can check out at www.millielewis.com under Success Stories and Press sections.
Em performed with The Platters at Indiana University in June, 2006.
Her collaboration with upcoming hip hop artist, CaMilly, gave rise to "We Ride", which was placed in rotation on Bloomington's B97 popular demand for weeks.
At the age of 10 years old, Em opened for the incredible Chaka Khan in Gary, IN. Later that year Em met and collaborated with Randy Jones on Em's 1st original song, "Where I'm From", with lyrics and vocals by Em ft. Skandal-The-Ruckus Man. It was selected to be on the soundtrack for the novel Platinum Dreams, by Jacki Kash, released in August, 2006.
