Park City
Hey Guys,
It's our last day in Park City. It's bittersweet as we all had such a fun time this week. It went by so quickly. This morning we woke up and it had started snowing so much! We are supposed to get 24-36 inches in the next 24 hours! It's just beautiful, the Aspen trees covered in fresh white snow. I just took our Park City mascot Wallace "Walley" for a walk and decided to do a little video blog answering some of your questions. So check out the video blog below.

Hey Emmy, thanks for adding me. I love your Q&A idea. What a good way to let fans see the real you. It's amazing how we get it into our heads that actors and actresses ARE the people they portray in movies, and how often that's wrong. I like the person's question a few below me--how do you differentiate between a fan and a person who really wants to get to know you (they were speaking of dating, and that differentiation probably is more important, but it could apply in regular friendships too). What a good distinction to make. I don't have any questions for you, but I love watching you answer Q&As and getting to see who you are outside of the parts you play. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. It's impressive, and I hope that you are blessed to keep that quality all your life.

Ah man how I'd love to be in the mountains right now and the snow. Maybe I should look into a trip into Shasta or Lake Tahoe or something, just a little snow before spring would be nice here in California!
Emmy: I was listening to this song "summertime" from the Sundays and thought you'd be great and covering it or reinventing it. I just finished my screenplay that takes place in the summer, so no wonder I have summer on the brain!

Thought you DBZ fans might like this interview I did with MTV this week at the MySpace Cafe here in Sundance. It was actually an interview about Dare, but MTV also really wanted to hear about Dragonball Evolution! Emmy: I try not to...Umm...I'm seeing the film next week so I'm really excited..Umm...Fingers crossed...
Interviewer: You...You said you were a fan though of the source material. Correct?
Emmy: Yeah!
Interviewer: And so...are we confident?...Do...Do I have your word that this will appease the fans?
Emmy: I think so, yes!.......
(I thought she said that the fans will like it? Then why isn't she watching what people are saying in the internet? Such a hype!)

awesome, thanks for that vid, and I herd his voice into the kamehameha int the trailer, and sounded like he did some justice, but didnt see much form from it, o and I saw a clip from it where Chow Yun-Fat jumps down off a balconey and justin is like trippin trying to calm down Fat, and then he launches a ki blast at out and u get launched back, i wanted to ask, was that fun? ^^

The Eccles
Current mood:
It's been a great week in Utah at Sundance. It's been lovely to see a lot of films here this week, to meet emerging filmmakers and actors, that's really what this festival is all about. I've become a fan of a few directors and actors in particular and it's always exciting to meet people whom you admire and who are so talented. The "DARE" premiere was exciting and the film has gotten an extremely warm response from audiences, which is really thrilling. It's been great to be back with the cast and crew, celebrating and reconnecting. We all became incredibly close on-set, as the subject matter was pretty intense and our living spaces were pretty close quarters. We became like a big functional family. Today we got to screen for almost 1300 people at the Eccles theater, which is the biggest theater here at Sundance. That's where we got to premiere "Songcatcher" when we were here with that film in 2000. We've been doing Q&As after the movie with the audience, that's been the most interesting part, hearing their feedback and their questions... a little intimidating when there are 1300 people with questions, but I think we handled it ok! It's been wonderful to hear their questions about our characters and to see how connected the audience really was with the 3 stories. I'm sure someone has already asked, but I'll ask anyway. Recently it was announced that Andrew Lloyd Webber is writing a sequel to his lavish musical spectacle "The Phantom of the Opera". Will you be involved in either the stage musical sequel or its potential film adaptation?
The reason I ask is that you were beyond superb as Christine Daae in the 2004 film and I'd love to see you reprise the role.
What is your favorite book for you ... And - this might be a silly question - did you ever write a own story ?
(Let me say in advance you that I have just learned English, but I hope I will understand my questions ...)

Hi Emmy! My name is Christian. I highly doubt that you'll see this, since i know you probably get tons of messages per day.... but I guess it's worth taking a shot. I just watched "Phantom of the Opera".... WOW! you are sooo amazing! I didn't know you could sing like that! You are sooo beautiful and talented l :-) My father is obsessed with the movie now haha... He watches it over and over. He even has the theme song as his ringtone!
