yea the colours arent that great on screen - better printed out. we have applied the logo to letterheads and business cards and next we are designing wine bottle lables and packaging which should be good. will be good to see the mbc stuff wen its finished. we're nt doin animation but have just made 60sec promos using iMovie, we eitha had 2 choose to advertise 'Strut TV' (a fiction music chanell like MTV) or the polytech radio station - which i did, i think its turned out alrite as its the first movie ive ever made, lol. we also could do video footage or stop motion, which some ppl did in our class (and it took them ages 2 do), i did stop motion for a couple of seconds but not the whole way through. We have work experience next week (im goin to Printstop) which shuld b kool, then 2 weeks holidays!! will come bk 2 matamata for them. well ive got to get back on2 workin on some assignments. hope all is goin gud for ur business. becca
Heya Rob!! I have now completed my 'Willow Stump' logo and it now has colour applied. we had to use only 2 spot colours. I have put the logo (with a reverse option) in my photos under 'polytech work' folder. let me know wat you think of it :) Becca
Check it out, thats right. Cardboard Transformer. I think it may be the greatest thing that I have ever seen. I refused to watch the sailing and will continue to do the same until they return to the way sailing challenges should be and arm all the boats with cannons. Then it would be worth watching. You can tack, gibe, and drop your spinaker all you like, but until the authorities allow the opposition boat to shoot massive lead balls at one another during the race, it will never be a spectator sport. Thank you, I rest my case.

I have abandoned the bananas but have not embarked yet, I'm in a slight frenzy at the moment and no doubt will be til we take off on Monday! Hey! thanx 4 da comments on my logos. The Gaspanic logo was hand drawn, then scaned in and we had 2 re-create it in 'Freehand' The Willow Stump logo isnt in colour yet (we have 2 do them in b/w 1st cuz "if it works in b/w, it'll work in colour") wen it gets 2 dat stage, ill let u know, this was also hand drawn (nt the typeface tho, which is 'Trajan Pro')
No, i havn't made any film magic for a while now, the farming gig seems to take up a fair bit of my time. Been doing a few little animation tests but the outcomes havn't been that great, boo hiss! Are you still in charge of awesome graphics for alphamedia? I can't wait to see the music olympics......

Why is it that all of the eventual winners of Beauty Pagents, the likes of Miss World, and Miss America, promise to do so much for the world surrounding them and never deliver on them? Is the rigors of 5 mins of spot light too much that they are then unable to help those less fortunante than themselves? Or is it one day they wake up and decide that the best way to help the spread of poverty and equality in the world is to pose naked for a dubious publication and marry a second rate "B" grade actor in hollywood. hmmm.
Unless he deletes tom and then he will only have two! I didnt read in the local papers about the viewer backlash and protest march to the steps of FTN when Jackie was relieved of her MishMash duties. Surely there was an uprising! Has advertising become more important than entertainment now? Yes working from home certainly would have it's advantages. I find that having the freedom to stand staring into the fridge for five minutes, trying to find something to eat, helps my productivity rather than hinders it. And compositing in Motion is a nightmare, layers and masks are ridiculously difficult, but, as simply a title machine, boy it's good!
