  • Bio

.. .. .. One day a lonely tenor banjo player began looking around for traditional jazz groups to play with. He soon found he was hard pressed to find anyone under 60 who was playing it. After much searching and many craigslist ads the perfect group was finally formed in mid-2008. Traditional jazz need no longer be viewed as old timey music played by old timers. ENJB seek to return this glorious sound to its rightful and youthful owners! Heck, Louis Armstrong was 21 when he moved to Chicago to join King Oliver, and Bix only lived to 28!
  • Members

Hudi Brenman - Clarinet. Mark DeSimone - Trombone. Adam Everett - Drums. Scot Gorman - Tuba. Travis O'Guin - Tenor Banjo. Tom Salvatore - Trumpet/Coronet.
  • Influences

Louis Armstrong, Bix, Jimmy Mazzy, Jelly Roll Morton, Lee Morgan, Black Eagle Jazz Band, Art Blakey
