The band "Empire" consists of established, familiar faces in the Jacksonville live band arena.
You will know vocalist and keyboard player Tim McGowan when you see him, he has played with well known bands in town such as Burning in December, Token Blonde, Go Ask Alice and many more! He is also well known for his solo instrumental cd releases, all 10 of them, which are currently being played around the world on internet and terrestrial radio stations from as far as the U.S.A., Europe to Japan!
Al, who is also a live music scene junkie and has played with such bands as "After Sundown". He gives private lessons to many of Jacksonville's up and coming musicians and is truly one of Jacksonville's most talented bass players and can perform unbelievable stage acrobatics, without a safety net!
Ken Newton comes to "EMPIRE" from the well known jax bands such as, "Cimon", "Thunder Road", "Method 2 Madness", "Wild Card". and many others. You will hear him before you see him, and beg for more until your ears are bleeding!
Kevin Schertell on Rhythm & Lead Guitar comes to "Empire" with a wealth of talent and guitar licks that will leave you, well...erm...licked...from previous Jax bands such as "Method To Madness", "Token Blonde" and "Burning in December".
