Influences
Our equipment allows us to rapidly change between one task and another, or even switch between projects almost instantly. Because of this, we offer a level of flexibility and quality not often afforded to artists in this range.
Our console is a Mackie D8B digital console with dynamic moving fader automation running software version 5.0 (latest upgrade). It has four MFX effect processor cards installed (two independent stereo effects each) as well the Apogee sync/wordclock card.
We also have a Sunn SPL-3424 Analog Console that we use to track through.
(classic 80's discrete Mic-Pre and EQ sound, dirty, colored, and oh so sweet!)
We record to Pro-Tools LE (version 7.4 with the Music Production Toolkit for 48 mono or stereo tracks running on a Windows XP Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 2GB memory, machine), through a Digidesign Digi-002 interface. The system is loaded with many plug-ins from: Bomb Factory, Waves, URS, Izotope, Antares, IK Multimedia, and many others.
Additionally, we have three Alesis ADAT Type II recorders (one XT, and two LX), a Panasonic SV-3800 DAT machine, and an HHB CDR-850 CD Burner. These are all interfaced digitally to the Mackie D8B, and clocked together with an Alesis ADAT BRC providing master sync (wordclock and MTC).
Monitoring is done with Event BAS 20/20 bi-amplified monitors, as well as Sennhieser, Yamaha, and AKG headphones, and a Panasonic boombox for real world reference.

My name is Ted, I'm the owner and engineer, I sing for the NYHC band Olde York, we are heavily involved in the scene, I have been playing in hardcore bands since the late eighties...I know what hardcore should sound like, 'nuff said.
Additionally, I have 14+ years experience engineering audio recordings for many major label projects. I worked out of The Hit Factory, NYC for years, and I mixed Big Pun's "Still Not A Player". 'Nuff said.
