I am a total Lifetime TV girl. I’m such a girl’s girl! I also love love love The Today Show, and I TiVo Oprah everyday. Those are the 2 shows that I try not to miss.
Books
I would have to say that my favorite book is The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz. I just loved the wisdom in this book and I found it to be very applicable to me and my life, work, etc. A book that I’m reading right now that I’ve really liked so far is The Power of the Purse: How Smart Businesses Are Adapting to the World’s Most Important Consumers-Women by Fara Warner. It’s about women’s buying power on a global basis and it’s a really interesting read.
Heroes
I would have to say that my heroes of the past would include women like Madame Curie, and Rosa Parks. I thought she was an amazing woman—she stood up for every single African-American woman in America on that bus. I guess from today’s world, my hero would be someone like Oprah Winfrey, who also stands up for women and is interested in helping people around the world.
