Unlike lots of ambient, and other music made in the bedroom, Jesse played instruments, including haunting synths, and a psychedelic guitar, no computer in sight.

Jesse Beaman was born on July 15th, 1987 in Miami Beach, Florida. From 1987-1994 he was raised in Manhattan New York City, New York. From 1995-2005 Jesse lived in a small town called Boerne, Texas right outside of San Antonio where he began to self study instruments and make different styles of artwork. Now he resides in Austin, Texas performing live shows as My Empty Phantom who is emerging to be one of the upcoming artist in the Live Music Capital of the World!
Over the past 8 months My Empty Phantom toured the Northwest Coast, Midwest, Northeast Coast and Southern parts of the United States playing over 50 shows. Jesse performs on various instruments like Piano, Guitar, Drums, Synthesizers and occasionally Vocals. His music touches elements of Minimalist/ Ambient/ Classical/ Experimental/ Post Rock. This music is very thought provoking and almost spiritual in way. Currently he is apart of futurerecordings record label based out of San Diego, California.
My Empty Phantom will hit the road again in the Winter 2009 heading Northeast from Texas and back. Upcoming Austin, Texas shows: August 1st @ Ballet Austin. November 14th @ The Parish.
