| General | EMU Theatre, acting, directing, playwrighting, designing, marketing the arts, arts administration, drama/theatre for the young, improv, musical theatre, artist management and career development, community cultural planning, and any other venture in the arts. - - - - - When the Normal Lyceum Society presented the first performance of the musical farce Cox and Box on June 9, 1876, it was an extension of their study of literature. With our current season we continue our commitment to our great literary works. Our goals now, as they were then, are to provide entertaining and enlightening theatre for our audience and to expand the knowlege of our students and their ability to create the theatrical event - an event that is momentary, intangible, yet with the capacity to last forever. What happens in an instant on stage stays in our memories for a lifetime. Join us and share in the memories. | | Music | anything by R. MacKenzie Lewis | | Movies | | | Television | Don't watch tv!
