About me:
Artist's Statement
Modified tradition, such as using copper mesh, wire, and cloth as a base for plique a jour and silver foil mache; unconventional use of eutectic process for visual effect and design, seen in flowing precious metal; the glow of electrical components that interplay with glass fused to the textured metal - these are the inspirations behind the artists work. The multiple, organic shapes are made from built up forms to melted down constructions, which are then assembled together, to obtain a sense of balance. Enamel adds color, which emphasizes texture and dimension.
