After taking a year off due to work and school restraints, Enbloc is coming back out of retirement and is back in business and ready to rock and roll! Keep your eyes open for upcoming dates and events. If you have any parties or events you would like us to play, be sure to let us know, we are always down for a good old fashioned blow out!
Enbloc based out of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, blends melodic harmonies with inspirational lyrics to form their own brand of music. The collaboration of all Enbloc's musicians generate a certain composition of music that has an unmatched, distinguished sound shaped by the many different influences each member possesses. Unity is what the band name represents, and the four band members have illustrated that since their friendship began 13 years ago.
Brandon Scherzberg (guitar/lead vocals), and Doug Harwick (lead guitar/vocals), formed the band in 2002. Without plans or direction they played music in their spare time; however, this quickly changed as the duo began to evolve and shape their own style. Brandon Kelly (drums), entered into the band in early 2003, lighting up the percussion section of the band. Karl Scherzberg (bass guitar), joined the band in 2006 and is now pulling double duty as the bassist and blow out coordinator. All four band members grew up together showing that they were Enbloc well before they even picked up instruments. These experiences as well as others, including participating in, and hosting charity events helped to form Enbloc as individuals. Some charity events include Stuff-A-Bus for a clear channel radio station in Philadelphia PA (Q102) and multiple events for The Pennsylvania State University including THON, a 24 hour dance marathon benefiting kids with pediatric cancer, and Rock for a Reason. Members of Enbloc have also been featured in a spring break segment for MTVU in 2005.
