Nights in White Satin
(Moody Blues)
~Sharing Sum Luv...
An Irish Blessing for you
Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.
Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.
Always remember to forget
The troubles that passed away.
But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.
~Sum more Luv...
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open;
no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down;
no sin that enough love will not redeem...
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;
how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
If only you could love enough you would be
the happiest and most powerful being in the world...

As for Me...
I love transulcent rainbows flirting with scenic still mountains during desert monsoons and the smell of rain with the wind blowing thru my hair. Although, jet black tantalizes me with it's bold provacativeness, like a panther on the prowl with a diamond collar or full moon in a black sky begging for lovers to shine ...
Ah but, pastel pink softens my mood with sweetness and all shades of blue put me at ease... Having a glass of sweet wine on a soft beach listening to the waves and sitting by a warm cracklin' fire under the stars at night with moments of slow soft kissing, are my secret endulgences...
Horses are pure majesty... poetry stirs my soul and writing is my passion... traveling is pleasurable...muscle cars rule the road, sport-bikes are my need for speed, flirty fashion and food are irresistible... adobe homes are the most romantic... beading is my relaxation, walking on exotic beaches makes me daydream about you... sailing takes my breath away... chocolate teases my mouth... bubble baths make me feel playful... perfume, oils and incense, and scented candles tickle my nose... meditating, praying, and spirituality bring me to a comfort zone of warmth, light's love, and gentle peace...
Music
...when I think of you, my friends... I need alittle help with so many songs and music to choose. Yeah I need...
A little help from my friends...
What would you think if I sang out of tune,
Would you stand up and walk out on me.
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song,
And I'll try not to sing out of key.
I get by with a little help from my friends,
I get high with a little help from my friends,
Going to try with a little help from my friends.
What do I do when my love is away.
(Does it worry you to be alone)
How do I feel by the end of the day
(Are you sad because you're on your own)
No I get by with a little help from my friends,
Do you need anybody,
I need somebody to love.
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love.
Would you believe in a love at first sight,
Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time.
What do you see when you turn out the light,
I can't tell you, but I know it's mine.
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends,
Do you need anybody,
I just need somebody to love,
Could it be anybody,
I want somebody to love.
I get by with a little help from my friends,
Yes I get by with a little help from my friends,
With a little help from my friends.

Wendy Lee was born and raised in Michigan and now resides in the beautiful state of New Mexico. Her talents, and passion of writing have grown over the years, and emanates directly from her journey in life. She landed a part–time job as a personal assistant to Mrs. Kauffman, a well known eccentric and fine art’s collector. In pursuit of following her dreams, she graduated Cosmetology College in her home town of Muskegon, top in her class, and went on to land a coveted spot as a make-up artist, esthetician skin care specialist and trendy model working for Peggy White, her mentor and an internationally famous hair stylist from the 60’ and 70’s. Her client’s soon became a who’s who of corporate and high profile women that included family members of the Gerber baby food industry, as well as famous Miss America pageantry winners like Susan Akins, Kellye Cash, and Kaye Lani Rae Rafko. In the early 80's, she earned title of make-up chairman for the Miss Michigan pageant committee and participated in countless other cosmetology conventions around the state and Chicago. Continuing her education and her life's journey, she volunteered to join the Air Force for five years from the late 1980's to 1992. Trained at Chanute Air Force Base in Illionios, she became a highly skilled metallurgist, working with aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, and titanium. Within her five years of military service, she received two achievement medals, ribbons of accomplishments, and letters of appreciation from Commanding Officers. She was later recognized by her male peer group after winning a special incentive award which included a highly prized flight in a F-16 model aircraft while she was stationed at Hill, Air Force base Utah in the 388th Combat wing. The incentive flight never happened, and she was deployed just days before Christmas on December, 18, 1991 to the 4404 Composite Wing, Dhahran Air Base, Saudi Arabia. There she worked side by side with not only her American military co-workers, but also British contractors and Saudi’s military officials. At the end of her deployment, the Saudi's she worked closely with, and a few other high ranking military members personally shook her hand wishing her farewell and said she was welcome back to Saudi Arabia anytime. She describes that moment as overwhelming and one she will always remember crossing cultural barriers as a skilled female aircraft metallurgist working in their country. 1996, four years later in Saudi Arabia, building 131 near an apartment complex she stayed at in the Khobar Towers compound was hit by a terrorist bomb, 19 American soldiers died that day.
Reality does not always have a happy ending, but every life is still precious.
Alittle kiss and tell about ~wendy lee, also known by her close friends as the ~Poetry Princess...
She is that blonde, who walks through Wal-Mart wearing fuzzy leopard printed house slippers, smiling at everyone she meets. Imprinted after birth by the 1967 hit song "Windy". In her early years, some of her fondest memories are those camping at Hoffmaster State Park in Michigan with her childhood best friend named Angie and catching crawfish and slippery frogs in the streams. During her teens, it was strolling on the boardwalk in Grand Haven, Michigan next to the lake during evenings in the summer. She is a social butterfly type, easy going, free spirited, yet eclectic.
Currently Wendy Lee says,
I am fortunate and very grateful that I can now spend time with my family and express myself creatively and passionately in writing, poetry, beading, and web-designing and other personal activities. I believe in the power of faith in God and love. And, even though I am not on the organ donor program, my family and people closest mean the world to me.
She believes...poets (famed or anonymous) are those searching past every obsticle, through all medians, and heartfelt feelings for the deepest passion of life in which to share such rare treasures with you.
Who I'd like to meet: Warm hearted people with positive attitudes. Spiritual influencers. Self Actualized. Woodstockers are cool! Spread Peace and Love, not WAR!

"A friend is, as it were, a second self."
quote by ~Cicero
When you wish upon a star Make no difference who you are Anything your heart desires Will come to you
If your heart is in your dream No request is too extreme When you wish upon a star As dreamers do♪
We have the Star Festival at 7th of July in Japan. The Star Festival originates from Chinese legend of the two bright stars, Altair and Vega. Vega, a weaving girl, and Altair, a cowherd boy, loved each other. They had so much fun being together they stop working hard. The king got angry and separated them by the Milky Way. He allowed them to meet once a year across the Milky Way only on the night of July 7th. On that day, people decorate bamboo branches with paper strips and ornaments to celebrate their reunion. It is believed that a wish comes true when we write our wishes on the paper strips and hang them on the bamboo. Of course I wrote my wish on the paper strip and hang it. I hope your dreams come true! Have a incredible week. Hugs, Amy
