About Endemic / Cappo - Needle Drop EP Nov 16th
Endemic - hip hop producer / ANR from Nottingham UK, working with US rap legends and UK / European artists, producing high quality projects and songs. Mid to late nineties sounds from New York, and more specifically the wu tang & boot camp clik groups, have strongly influenced Endemic’s style.

Endemic has produced for the likes of - ruste juxx, sean price, killah priest, ill bill, smif n Wesson, hell razah, torae, skyzoo, planet asia, supreme (boot camp clik), timbo king, bronze Nazareth, the wisemen, triple darkness, one click bang, leathafase, sav killz, killa sha, reek, darkim be allah, buddah monk, cappo, scorzayzee, iron braydz, c-mone, lee ramsay, letia larok, sima lee, masikah, 34 click (France) & many more.

March 2009 saw the release of his debut album “Terminal illness” a producer set featuring emcees such as Sean Price, Planet Asia, Hell Razah, Killah Priest and UK based artists C Mone, M9, & Triple Darkness, the album was singed by Money Maker / EMI music USA through DJ Phantom, aka Gustav Guerra, a hungry New York cat who was DJing and always on the look out for new talent to sign. Money Maker Records, which is co founded by Guerra and Michael Esterson and distributed by EMI came about out of necessity: “We wanted to bring back the hip hop sound and excellence of the old days,” says Guerra, who has put out records /managed artists such as Saigon, Tragedy Kadafi, Killa Sha, Large Pro, Method Man, among others. “Endemic is ridiculous,” he adds, “People don’t realize what they’re in for.”

The album was received very well by fans worldwide and Endemic received radio plays from the likes of DJ Premier, DJ Eclipse, Sarah Love and many more. It gained rave reviews from major publications and online sites across the world. Demic got flown out to New York by the label to undertake a promo tour for the album, performing in stores at the legendary Fat beats in Manhattan, and appearing on many big NYC radio stations such as the DJ Eclipse show at WNYU. There was also a release party at sutra nightclub in Manhattan where hip hop legends such as blahzay blahzay came through to support.

2009 continues to be a good year for Endemic, November 16th will see the release of the EP “needle Drop” – collaboration with Nottingham Veteran Cappo, via his own imprint “No Cure Records” Endemic continues his hard east coast style of production on “Needle Drop” and provides Cappo with perfect backdrops for his heavy rhyming style. Guest spots include Nottingham Legends Scorzayzee and Lee Ramsay and London’s talented Cyrus Malachi & Iron Braydz.

Further work is coming in the form of producing Ruste Juxx’s (of Boot Camp Clik) “Adamantine” album entirely which features artists such as – ill bill, smif n Wesson, torae, skyzoo, supreme and many more. With lethal beats and a strong business savvy, Endemic is certainly making big waves.

Some Press / radio reviews of "terminal Illness" -

"This album by producer Endemic really jumped out the review box, this falls into the category Hip Hop aint dead!" - D101 MAG

"great soul sampling hip hop, quality Mcs from both sides of the atlantic" - 247 MAG

"there's a real drought of those synthy string records topped with real hip hop mcs, endemci terminal illness is happy proof that somtimes they still do make them like that!" - WORD MAG

"An accompished debut from Uk producer Endemic, this is straight out to the undergound heads. class!" - KMAG

"British talented producer Endemic provies atmospheric backdrops to quality mcs from both sides of the atlantic, great release" - METRO NEWSPAPER

"robin hood thoery is a raw hip hop track which sees brooklyn legnd timbo king brutally attack the bush regime, with LA's Planet asia in tow, one for the real hip hop heads" - M8 MAG

"Hey british rap is is far from dead! it can become a little richer thanks to a rather gifted producer named Endemic." - RAP2K (France)

"UK's RZA bridges the Atlantic, and it sounds so sick" - 2GO.COM

"If it’s good, solid rap music you want, Endemic got it and you wouldn’t be going far wrong by snapping up a copy of this LP." - Certified Banger

"Fans of production and lyricism will appreciate the outcome of “Terminal Illness”, and should pick up a copy. The production from Endemic is a joy to behold, and marks the future for U.K Hip-Hop." - HIP HOP KINGS

"Far from sounding like a gimmick the highlight of the project is hearing a variety of rappers from the US and UK sharing gutter beats, a partnership best seen on ‘Political minds’. Tracks like ‘Hydrocrites’ feat M9 and Masikah, and ‘I’m show Ya’ are straight ill. Get you neck right ‘cos the head knodding is evitable." - BIG SMOKE MAG

“We been playing the coming to kill joint since last year! Very dope album and a worthwhile purchase” - DJ ECLIPSE WNYU NYC

“Great album, been playin this – go get it!” - SUCIO SMASH SQUEEZE FM NYC

“if you didn’t know you would think endemic was from queens or Brooklyn, real hip hop album - favourite track has to be can’t stand to wake up with the wisemen” - JON BLACK BROOKLYN COLLEGE RADIO

“Transatlantic wonder kid Endemic brings the Illness on his debut album, hes coming to kill!” - DJ Sarah Love - BBC 1xtra
