Make that LA... I am basking in my post-graduation good fortune of snagging a great job. I am the assistant to the head of physical production for SKE Films. It is a real entry level spot - but it couldn't be a cooler company or better boss and it is the perfect spot for me to learn all about what makes the industry tick. I am subletting a cool little apt in W.Ho with the gf and learning to enjoy the cooler side of the sprawl called Los Angeles that I have always been so afraid to embrace.

Back in the SB to finish up with school. I am already super busy with classes and a big film project. A bit overwhelming but it should be really exciting if it goes well. Looking for internships for spring and then graduating in June. Next... NYC??

I am studying in Prague, Czech Republic this Fall. I am lucky to have the opportunity to take classes at FAMU, the national film school here. Just about every name in Czech film came up through FAMU and many still roam the halls. I'll be here until late December, then in Seattle for about a week, and then back to SB. Please let me know if you are anywhere in Europe this Fall or need a roommate in SB in January.

I've just moved to Santa Barbara from Seattle. I spent the last couple years living in Japan and travelling around Asia. Travelling and especially living abroad has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has given me a better understanding of our society, our world, and especially our country. I am going back to school at UCSB to finish my degree but I don't know how I am going to escape that desire to just run off and live in some crazy place.
