About Endgames

Endgames Biography Endgames was founded in 1980 by singer and bassist David Rudden, formerly of the Berlin Blondes, in Glasgow. The lineup for the band's first released single,and produced by the Legendary John Leckie, 1982's We Feel Good (Our Future's Looking Fine), consisted of Rudden, Paul Wishart, David Murdoch and Douglas Muirden. At various points, other band members included Willie Gardner and drummer Brian Mcgee, formerly of the Simple minds, another Glasgow band. We Feel Good and the band's follow-up single released in the same year, First, Last, For Everything, found success in clubs in Europe and North America. This led to the release of their polished 1983 LP, Building Beauty, which was produced by Colin Campsie and George McFarlane of The Quick (UK band). This album spawned worldwide hit singles in Waiting for Another Chance and Love Cares. Waiting For Another Chance was especially well received in Germany (21st place in September 1983, 15 weeks in the charts) and the band toured in Europe with acts such as Howard Jones, Eurythmics and Depeche Mode. The single Miracle in My Heart included a B-side mix of the song Ecstasy that has become a dance classic, having been sampled by the likes of Heavy D (Nuttin' But Love) which is also the special feature included on the "RUSH HOUR" Trilogy of Films,Videos and DVD's. The Promo and behind the scenes extras were Directed by Bret Ratner and feature Chris Tucker ,ENDGAMES Tunes and Samples have also included on - (FLIPPIN) by Lil Flip ft MYA from the HIT Album "I Need Mine $$"and Lenisha (Just Dance). to name a few. Endgames released a second album, Natural, in 1985, which included the single Shouting Out For Love. Endgames has had recording/publishing contracts with EMI, MCA, Virgin and Mercury. Rudden continues to record as Endgames, with recent work including Diamond Runnin'.Also respected for his Hip-Hop related material and is known as "G42" and also a consistent in demand re-mixer in the House and Techno areas. How are you? :-) I'm stopping by in your myspace to ask you how things are going and, second, to present you my new remix of a new track by the guys of Dawnfine called 'Crisis'. This is the second remix I made for them (www. myspace. com/dawnfine ) and it's a real honour :-) This time I haven't made a clubby tune, well, it's clubby but I think it's not the best for djs because of its slow bpm (120). Anyway, I think people who enjoy melodic trance and a bit of progressive styles will like it. The first minutes are almost a "ballad" and, in the last ones, it turns into an almost progressive tune (what a mixture!) :-P Then, Marcus (the singer of Dawnfine) has written some emotional and superb lirycs (for my taste) plus has recorded some amazing vocals. I'm wondering if you think it may work on the dancefloors cos, maybe I'm too worried about the bpm and it's not so important :-) Thanks, Dawnfine for giving me this second oportunity to remix your new stuff and thanks to you for your listen, feedback and support.
