Strongly influenced by the fruits of the downtempo Bristol sound of the early nineties, Endless Blue's music spins the trip-hop style in a new direction while staying true to their roots. They infuse trip-hop's "signature" lo-fi beats, vintage synths, and jazzy bass with guitar and songwriting that leans toward the indie-rock vibe of their original home of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sprinkled into these grooves are eclectic snippets of other genres, from synth-pop to industrial to loungecore to staright-up rock. Finally, bringing it all together, is a female voice that is a blend of numerous eras, from the torch singers of the '40s to the classic female rockers to the modern trip-hop singers. Trashy beats, jazzy keys, sultry vocals -- this is Endless Blue.

OK, just so you don't feel so bad about the DVD...
1) I just bought some software and went to install it and my Superdrive's drawer only poked out half-way. Then it took AGES to read the disk. (Worked in the end, but the end is nigh. For the second time.) :-/
In the same order, I got a new subwoofer to add to my Adam monitors. It sounds pretty good. How do I know? I played the old stereo store test record (Dark Side Of The Moon) and was a little disappointed. I ejected the CD but Itunes continued, with LILACS! It was still checked from the last time I played it, and wow! did it sound great! I heard detail I hadn't noticed before, and the whole recording was rich and full. Yum!
Good luck with your DVD, although it may be time for a different brand of disks, or a new burner (or a different computer).
