Hey all. this is some of Dalton Tate's favorite times. We are doing a benefit for his treatment raising money to help with expences. We will be at Red's roller drum in Lagrange on Old Roanoke Rd. Look in our top friends for red's 2. Come out and Help. If you can't come then at least pray for him, because that is what he needs the most.

Well........It is sort of a long story. It started about 7 years ago. God gave kk Nifong a vision to start a Christian Band that would revolutionalize the Christian Rock era. He started off with just a drummer and two guitars. No singer at the beginning. Well as time went by a singer was added. It was a few months later before the bassist was added. At that point you could call it a "band". We went from upstairs to down in the living room to moms back porch to a room at our local church to now a garage band. Through the last almost 7 years we have changed out many players. Even a singer. We also went from hard rock to slightly contemporary and now we have found our nitch at Christian rock. We can't realy be put into a box as far as what style we play. One song may sound like Third Day, and the next like Van Halen. Or we may have a song with two acustic guitars and vocal, or we may have full out band with all the trimmings.
Another thing about this band is this. We write and arrange ALL of our own songs. God has blessed us with more songs than We can put to use right now. Each time we need new material God just works it out and miracles happen. We never know what to expect. God is so amazing. He may put us all together to put a song together. But, He may wake one of us up at 3 oclock in the morning and give a song to that one member. It is just awsome.
It is realy cooooool too. We have such different backgrounds. One of us came from a preachers kid background playing just gospel and bluegrass. One of us came from a marching band background. One of us came up playing everything hard rock. One came up just doing his own thing. One churched all their lives and one came up unchurched. The thing that we are all sure of now is that we are here to play music to praise our Lord. He gave it to us and without Him we can't do anything. We have to stay prayed up and listening to Christ, or He will not bless anything we do. WE ARE HERE TO LEAD OTHERS TO CHRIST!!!!! That is our only goal. If we stay playing on the weekends or if we get signed and become the next Third Day doesn't realy matter if we aren't leading others to the Cross and saying "NOW GRAB ON TO JESUS HAND AND HE WILL LEAD YOU". Our biggest want is that YOU, the one reading this right now, will bow your head and pray that We will keep our eyes on Christ and the "I" will NOT get in God's way. It's all about HIM. Amen
