End of the Road Records are very happy to announce the release on 21st January 2008 of the debut album '12 Tales From Winter City' by The Young Republic. Here's their music video to the last single Modern Plays....Enjoy!
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO VOTED FOR THE END OF THE ROAD - WE WON BEST NEW FESTIVAL IN THE 2006 UK FESTIVAL AWARDS!
20.09.2006: WOW!!! THANK YOU ALL!!! We had an AMAZING time and it's all thanks to you guys; festival goers, friends, family, artists, comedians, oxfam stewards, caterers, somerset cider bus, bar staff, bimble inn, panic circus, viking kubb, band managers, tour managers, agents, stage managers, sound engineers, production team, box office team, security, crew catering, larmer tree gardens, north dorset licencing authority, Alan the gardener, the local communities, ALL staff, peacocks and parrots!!!
The intimate End of the Road festival caters for about 5,000 people, and our 3rd year takes place between the 12-14th September 2008.
The Larmer Tree Gardens is about 2.5-3 hours drive from London, and falls on the border between North Dorset and Wiltshire, fairly close to Stonehenge. It's a beautiful venue with peacocks and huge parrots roaming / flying around freely both inside the gardens and in the field.
This is the kind of festival where the entire line-up is the headliner in itself!
There will be a stage inside the Gardens and a Big Top in the field, and after the live music finishes - there will be DJs in the Big Top til late.
An Open Mic stage welcomes anyone to sign up on the day to play a short slot, read poetry or even do some yodelling, including festival goers - like an ongoing jam session. In the late afternoon / evening we will have scheduled bands on this lovely stage.
Who I'd like to meet: Festie goers wanting to celebrate the end of another great season!! Hopefully in the sunshine!!!
Hello, I've uploaded the first recording from my EP - it's a song called 'Calm Down'. Be ace if you could find some time to give it a listen... Enjoy the day :) Andy x

Hiyah, It's festimania here at the RGB HQ, if you're coming to Creamfields (Andalucia) The Great Escape, Bestival, Wireless, Rockness, Dot to Dot, or Hyde Park Calling then give us a shout!
Hi folks. The bombardment begins! We have five shows this month, the first of which is mighty exciting!
Supporting his new Asthmatic Kitty LP ’In The Vines’ Raymond Raposa stops by for one of only six UK shows. His wonderful songwriting is awash with trippy electronics and lazy country licks. Twisted country Grandaddy possibly? I dunno, bloody good though! Assisting on the album are a wealth of talented musicians including members of the wonderful Phosphorescent, Jana Hunter and Sufjan Stevens.
Supports are great too.
York ain't so far away! 10 minutes from the station.
