ABOUT ENDOMIZER
Endomizer is a pseudonym for Rolf Anders Karlsson, born in Linkoping, Sweden, in 1978.
His whole life is surrounded by mystery and his music and art are a clear reflection of that.
Since he was a small child he would often disappear into his own imaginary world, an outlandish space filled with pain which felt like an intermediate zone between reality and dream. Soon people around him began to acknowledge that the supernatural was part of Anders’ life. He saw unusual powers in action, heard many strange things and dreamt of mysterious ghosts and aliens who spoke to him about our doomed world. These profound experiences turned him into a very lonely and dark soul.
At the age of five he began to paint, draw and explore unusual sounds by learning on his own how to play the synthesizers. For many years he experimented with programming by himself. As a teenager he would play for over 12 hours a day, but he was never keen on playing other people’s compositions, being comfortable with the endless improvisation that comes from his extra-ordinary experiences.
As well as a musician, Anders is known locally as a painter and a performing actor. Perennially involved in different kinds of artistic projects, he is committed to exploring through art the on-going relationship between himself and the many dimensions he has access to. Project “Endomizer” represents an effort to integrate and develop the complexity of such weird and amazing worlds. Anders is very candid about his uncommon powers and is very comfortable with the fact that many will not understand his experiences, but he wants to make it clear that he is very much a man of science and therefore a sceptic and an atheist. You are warned: you should not try to convince him that there is a god ruling over humanity!
Today Anders is a family man and the proud father of two beautiful children. He also has a lot of friends although not many truly know his inner soul. Even his girlfriend cannot quite understand him when he longingly looks at the stars in the sky, as if he was waiting for a spaceship to take him home at long last…
