Endyium (En-dee-eye-uhm) is an Ottawa-based hard rock band that was formed in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada in late 1999. Originally formed to perform cover songs in the style of '80s hard rock and heavy metal, the burning desire to write original music and tour the planet always permeated Endyium's spirit and attitude. In 2002, after rolling through an entire volume of band names, the group's frontman decided on a name the band could finally call its own - Endyium.
Originating from the humble beginnings of weekly practices in a basement, Endyium has come a long way rounding out its lineup and recently recording a 3-song demo in Ottawa's famous Distortion Studios in just 2 days. Always striving to satisfy their fans' insatiable desire for driving hard rock music, the band writes songs that feature soaring vocals with ripping, emotion-filled leads.
Driven both by their love for the music that guides them as well as their dismay for much of today's popular music, Endyium is primed and ready to bring its unique brand of rock to a new generation of rock-starved fans.
