Welcome to the new look Engel Myspace page and as you can see everything has been designed to co-ordinate more with our new online website which will include more interactive features, band information and of course the re introduction of the much missed web forum. Both sites will compliment each other to make it easier to keep up to date with all things Engel.
We hope to introduce new features as the page develops and we would very much appreciate your input and help to help build on what we have started here.

Formed back in early 21st century Engel set their aim to give the world their Propaganda.
You'll know Niclas Engelin from his time in Gardenian & Passenger and a few short moonlightnings with In Flames. Marcus Sunesson spent time in The Crown whilst also moonlighting with The Haunted (2001-02). Joining these two six string shredders are vocalist Mangan Klavborn formally of the acclaimed swedish band Headplate, drummer Mojjo of the Project Hate and bassist Steve Drennan formally from Locus & Amon Amarths touring bass player.
The image is one of an open space as big as the the choruses Engel conjure up. Here to chart a new course for heavy music in 2007 are five Swedes from Gothenburg from whom music provides the ultimate rush.
They understand the delicate balance between skill and brutality, of drawing the heaviest dynamic out of the sweetest melody and of marrying classic metal influences with new-school characteristics.

Releasing their debut album "Absolute Design" in 2007 just set the first step out to global domination. After touring with amongst others Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Atreyu, Still Remains, Trivium. The sight is set for more touring, more albums, more Engel. This is it - this is now!
