Après une décennie dans différentes formations Punk Rock (Unity Zero, Overstate), Ben et Guilhem ressentent la nécessité d'évoluer vers de nouveaux horizons. En 2006, lors d'un voyage en Indonésie, ils imaginent les bases de ce nouveau projet, avec la volonté de marier leurs influences variées... ...une rythmique punk, des riffs incisifs, une voix mélodique...à l'aide d'une boîte à rythme, ils enregistrent leurs 4 premiers morceaux et sortent la démo « NO DESTINATION ». Grâce à celle-ci, le groupe fait la connaissance de Manu (Batterie) et de David (basse). Avec ce 1er line up, DOGGONE fait ses premières armes sur diverses scènes locales, avec notamment en Août 2009 la première partie de Mass Hystéria. Automne 2009, David quitte le groupe et est remplacé fin octobre par Kaan (TRUIE, ex-BLINDFALL). Ce nouveau line-up correspond aussi à une nouvelle direction musicale. Le groupe veut créer une atmosphère autour de sa musique. Guilhem abandonne son piano pour se concentrer sur la Guitare. Le « sample » devient alors le cinquième membre du groupe...DOGGONE semble trouver sa voie... Eté 2010, Manu laisse sa place à Alex (Astharog, ex-K.A, ex-DARKSEEDS) qui propose immédiatement un jeu plus adapté aux nouvelles inspirations du groupe. Après plusieurs mois passés sur les nouvelles compos, le groupe décide de s'attaquer à la production de leur nouvel album : AND THE RAIN FELL... Direction les Hautes-Alpes et le studio de Christian Carvin « ALL PRODUCTION » Grace au talent de ce fou furieux du son et de son expérience auprès des meilleurs groupes rock en France, DOGGONE prend une nouvelle dimension et propose un 7 titres puissant et efficace...entre fureur et mélancolie. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After a decade of different formations of Punk Rock (Unity Zero, overstate), Ben and Guilhem felt the need to move towards new horizons. In 2006, during a trip to Indonesia, they imagined the foundations of this new project with the intention of combining their varied influences ... ... punk rhythm, incisive riffs, a melodic voice ... with a sound box they recorded their first 4 pieces on the demo "NO DESTINATION". With this, the group met Manu (drums) and David (bass). With this first line up, Doggone cut their teeth on various local stages, including in August 2009 the first part of Mass Hysteria. In Fall 2009, David left the band and was replaced by the end of October by Kaan (TRUIE, former BLINDFALL). This new line-up also reflected a new musical direction. The group wanted to create an atmosphere around their music. Guilhem abandons his piano to focus on the guitar. The "sample" becomes the fifth member of the band. Doggone seems to find its way. In summer 2010, Manu makes way for Alex (Astharog, ex-KA, former Darkseed), whose style is more immediately adapted to the new group's inspirations. After several months on new songs, the group decided to tackle the production of their new album: AND THE RAIN FELL ... Towards the Hautes-Alpes and the studio of Christian Carvin "ALL PRODUCTION". Thanks to the talent of this madman and sound experience from the best rock bands in France, Doggone found a new dimension and offers a powerful and effective 7 titles ... landing somewhere between anger and melancholy. -
