Estes são apenas pequenos exemplos do que as canções aqui nesta página podem representar. Não apenas para o homem que as escreveu, mas mais importante, para as pessoas que irão ouvi-las. E este desafio foi proposto por Tércio Testa (baixista da banda Shileper High) cujo mais novo projeto, Enough About Lindsay está finalmente dando seus primeiros passos.
A banda acaba de lançar o seu primeiro EP, “The Blistering Sounds Of Freedom” (Os Intensos Sons Da Liberdade), através da internet, contendo cinco canções e já têm planos de lançar novas canções até o final deste ano. Testa está um tanto confiante e confortável com seu novo projeto que nasceu de um outro projeto, porém ainda sem nome, e que promete completar a experiência que leva a sigla EAL.
As cinco canções de TBSOF definem a “veia” onde a vida de cada um se encontra e analisa as emoções humanas que todos sentimos alguma vez em nossas vidas. Cada canção representa uma emoção única e nas entrelinhas procura responder à questão principal do projeto e que pode ser encontrada na primeira faixa do EP, “The Secret Sources Of Human Emotions” (As Fontes Secretas Das Emoções Humanas). Quais são estas fontes? Quando as encontramos? Como tudo isso faz sentido?
As respostas para estes questionamentos não podem ser encontradas facilmente nas faixas seguintes como, "Theatre Of Mass Destruction" (Teatro De Destruição Em Massa), "Shadow Of a Soldier" (Sombra De Um Soldado), "From Your Heart And Soul" (De Seu Coração E Alma) e "The Mistery Of Tomorrow" (O Mistério Do Amanhã)... Mas, escute atentamente e você será transportado para um universo de possibilidades além do imaginado e este é apenas o começo da jornada.
Forrado de influências que vão das gravações solo de Greg Graffin, passando pelas guitarras únicas de Chuck Ragan aliado à uma composição com senso poético o EP promete ocupar um espaço há muito tempo aberto na cena underground brasileira onde a falta de originalidade e substância está em todo lugar. Portanto, sem guitarras estridentes ou baterias furiosas neste lançamento... Apenas uma “parede” de harmonias melódicas acompanhadas por dois violões, um suave baixo e letras fortes e sinceras para ilustrar a infindável busca por respostas na vida.

These are just some samples of what the songs found on this page can represent. Not only to the man who wrote it, but most importantly to the ones who will hear them. And the challenge was created by Tercio Testa (bass player for Shileper High) whose latest endeavor, Enough About Lindsay is finally taking off.
The band is releasing their debut EP, The Blistering Sounds Of Freedom, via internet, containing five songs and have plans to unleash new ones later this year. Testa seems pretty comfortable and confident with his latest project wich hailed from other one that is yet to be named that promises to complete the whole EAL experience.
The five songs in TBSOF define the vein where everyone's life is and analyzes the very human emotions we all experience sometime in our lives. Each song represents a certain human emotion and between the lines tries to answer the project's central question wich can be found in the first track of the EP, "The Secret Sources Of Human Emotions". What are these secret sources? When do we fell them? Where do we find them? How does it all come together?
The answers to those questions aren't quite simple to be found on the following tracks, "Theatre Of Mass Destruction", "Shadow Of A Soldier", "From your Heart And Soul" and "The Mistery Of Tomorrow"... But, take a close listen to those and you'll be invited to an universe of possibilities beyond imagined and it is only the beggining of the ride.
Riddled with influences that range from the likes of Greg Graffin's solo recordings to Chuck Ragan's anthemic guitar strumming allied to a poetic sense of writing the EP promises to fill a long open gap in Brazil's underground scene where the lack of originality and substance is all around. Therefore, no buzz-saw guitars nor pounding drums on this one...
Just a wall of melodic emotional harmonies accompanied by two acoustic guitars, a suave bassline and strong heartfelt lyrics to illustrate the never ending search for answers in life.
