Born in Paris, France in 1975 Enrick showed an early talent for music and he
progressed onto the guitar by his teenage years. Playing professionally at
18, Enrick performed with many bands in Paris and thus accumulated much early
live experience.
These various projects allowed Enrick to play in many styles- rock,funk,
jazz, fusion, jazz manouche and traditional French ballroom music- a
diversity which comes through in much of his own compositional work to date.
A trip to Australia in 1998 saw Enrick venture even further with an
experimental world acoustic trio called "Jambience".
On his return to Europe, Enrick continued to play venues and do session work for
such artists as Diams (french hip-hop), Soname (Tibetan Singer) amongst others.
Resident in the Uk since 2001, Enrick continued to work with Jambience and
they performed at a number of pretigious venues and festivals such
as the BBC radio, Brixton Academy, The Royal Opera House and Glastonbury.
They also had oportunities to support Jimmy Cliff, Neneh Cherry, Faithless
Starsailor and Nithin Sawney.
Now living in London, Enrick continues to work within many
diverse musical projects- live Solo, duo and group gigs, composition, studio
sessions and guitar tuition. Family connections also take Enrick to Brazil
quite regularly, and this has been an influencial factor in much of his
recent work.
