Soy compositor y toco las percusiones, batería, djembe, bongos, piano, marimba, vibráfono y demás instrumentos percutivos que se necesiten. Con la ayuda de la beca Fulbright estudié un masters en New York University en percusiones y composición (2006) y en la Univerisdad de las Américas Puebla una licenciatura en música (2002). Me encanta colaborar con diferentes artistas, músicos, danza, teatro, cine y mezclar estilos. Estudié y viví en Cuernavaca, Cholula, Montreal, Nueva York, Pittsburgh, Berlín, Buenos Aires y estoy de regreso en México, cosa que me tiene muy contento!!

I am a composer and play percussion, drums, piano, marimba vibes, and whatever percussion instrument is necessary for the gig or project. With the help of a Fulbright Scholarship I studied a Masters in Percussion and Composition at New York Univeristy (2006) and in 2004 a Bachelor in Music at Universidad de las Americas Puebla. I love to work with different artists, musicians, film makers, painters, dancers, and mix styles. I have studied and lived in Cuernavaca, Cholula, Montreal, New York, Berlin, and Buenos Aires. Now I am happily back in Mexico.

EXCELLENT PLAYING! You must see my Chiapan collection of Marimbas and the others from around the world including the Turquoise Marimba in the picture. It is from Chiapas but I had some Navajo Indians from Gallup, New Mexico make a sandpainting using real Turquoise sand!
