The Colorado music scene generally consists of mediocre Hardcore/Screamo bands, that lack any interest in breaking free from their generic sound. Ensatus, however, hopes to break this mold and re-introduce a fading genre: METAL. Through their searing leads, thunderous bass, and intense adrenaline-driven drums, Ensatus is pioneering a new wave of music.
With melodies reminiscent of Bach's works, intense rhythms, and powerful vocals, Ensatus makes for a truly unique experience. These stylistic extremities are what sets Ensatus apart, not just from the local scene, but from any other artist today.
Of course, the members of Ensatus wouldn't have it any other way. Founded by guitarist, Matt Zamora, and bassist, Matthew Walker in 2006, Ensatus was to be an experiment in music making. They wanted to break free from the norm, and write songs that were catchy, intelligent, and heavy. Though it would prove to be difficult at times, the members of Ensatus pushed through and collaborated on the project. Bringing in drummer, Conner Bruce, and guitarist, Zach Klimczak, they utilized their love of music, and theoretical knowledge to establish Ensatus as a skilled and determined band. After guitarist Zach Klimczak left the band, guitarist Jeff Rose was set to fill his shoes.
