Enshadowed first appeared in the year 1998 under the name “Sacrificial”.

In September of 1998 the band recorded their first promo tape “Dethroned”.

In March of 1999 the name changed to “Nocternity Enshadowed”. The first demo CD / Tape “Reign Of Terror” was recorded and released in a limited hand numbered version.

In March 2000 Nocternity Enshadowed recorded their second demo CD / Tape. Titled “Cremation Odes”.

New members entered the band and in the next year recorded the third demo CD “Nocternity Enshadowed”. This demo was released only for promotional reasons for the labels.

In autumn of 2001 the band signed a contract with Hellenic “Black Lotus Records” and recorded their debut album “Messengers of the Darkest Dawn”. A testimony of pure misanthropic black metal.

After 16 months of the debut release, the band entered “Wave studio” to record the second album entitled “Intensity”. Both albums distributed by “Black Lotus Records”.

Brazilian “Goat Records” released two of the 3 Enshadowed demos in a tape release. Called “Awaken the Undead” (limited 500 copies).

Brazilian “Alastor Rex Records” released on June of 2006 “Dressed In Blood - Live Ritual” tape (limited 300 copies).

In the middle of 2007, the Germanian “Diaphora Records” released “Messengers of the Darkest Dawn” in double gatefold vinyl with bonus tracks. The second vinyl included the 3 demos of the band.

“Goat Records” released “Messengers of the Darkest Dawn” in tape version ( limited in 300 copies).

In April of 2007, “Messengers of the Darkest Dawn” re-pressed in CD format by “Zyklon-B Productions” with new layout and bonus tracks.

In June of 2007, Japanese “Deathrash Armageddon” released the “Necrosimon-The Art Ov Blasphemies” split 7''EP between Enshadowed and Mantak (Malaysia) (limited 500 copies).

The same year, Enshadowed recorded 5 tracks for the split album with the cult Black Metal horde Thornspawn (USA). In December of 2007, split album was released by “Zyklon-B Productions”. Titled “6 Black candles, 6 rotting hearts, 6 sacrifices for Satan”.

At the beginning of 2008 Serpent (ex-Via Serpentis) became the new vocalist of Enshadowed.

At the end of 2008 Enshadowed entered “Base Line Studios” and recorded 3 new tracks. 2 of them will be included in the 4 way split release of SECTA NOVA. The release will be out in the beggining of 2010. The third song was part of the 7”ich split EP between Enshadowed and Vulturine (Brazil). This vinyl release released in the beginning of 2009 under the banner of the Germanian “Necromancer Records” (limited 300 copies).
More, the band prepares their 4th album “Sphygmous Omega”. It will be a pure fucking total evil, experimental Black/Death Metal album, more extreme, suicidal and paranoid from the previous releases...
All these years ENSHADOWED have performed a lot of live shows with bands like Impaled Nazarene, Dark Funeral, Belphegor, Arkhon infaustus and many underground bands.
