Former members,
appear on RC Scythe:
Mikko Kotamäki[v]
Ville Lapio[b]
Influences
Melodicism and feel of e.g. early In Flames & Sentenced, the drive and aggression of Pantera & Machine Head plus anything with some cool progressive elements & open-mindedness for a little twisted arrangements & structures.
Enter My Silence is a five-piece melodic death metal band from Finland, formed back in late 1995. Our latest album Coordinate: D1SA5T3R was released in February 2006 by a small Finnish indie label JMT-Music which unfortunately was shut down - or at least we were given the impression... - soon after release. Therefore, we are currently unsigned and in search for new, reliable co-operate to work with in the future. Coordinate: D1SA5T3R introduces new band members Ville Friman(Insomnium) and Mika Lisitzin(Scalping Screen /
Disordead). They joined Enter My Silence during a break we had in '02-'04, alongside founding members Teemu Hokkanen, Tuomas Jäppinen and Arto Huttunen.

Before the aforementioned hiatus and line-up changes, our debut album Remotecontrolled Scythe saw daylight in early 2001 via Danish Mighty Music. Later that year, WWIII/Mercenary Music released it in the US. Mikko Kotamäki (Swallow the Sun) growled on RCS, but quit in later on due to lack of time and dedication, as did former bassist Ville Lapio.

Despite all the label & line-up issues we've had, Enter My Silence is stronger and more confident than ever. Right now - as of October '06 - we’re writing and rehearsing new material for a future third album. More information on that when the time comes. In the meantime, we'd really appreciate any efforts in making EMS known to more and more people around the world. Bulletins, forum posts & signatures, e-mails, word of mouth... you name it, even the smallest buzz you're able to put up is highly appreciated!
