"Hotel Rewanda" was a movie that shocked me into action.
Watching the butchery of men, woman and children while the rest of the world turned a blind eye.
I experienced many mixed emotions of anger, resentment and distaste towards those that held positions of power and authority yet did nothing and allowed these mutilations, killings and sufferings to continue.
It made me realise that the Super Powers of this world with all their technology and wealth, still cannot stop or control these things. There was always some political reason or excuse.
Television
Too busy meeting people. Dont watch TV, instead I watch the Computer and find better news, events and exciting things happening here and all over the world.
Books
All types of literature as I believe that knowledge is Powerful. Anything that as soon as I start reading I cannot stop.

I will call him "Gunga Dinga" as my good mate "Grub" would want to be preferred as since he wishes to remain anonymous.
It was a time in my life when I needed to get out and enjoy what adventures the world had to offer instead of being couped up in an office.
So off we went and ventured out into the hot blistering heat in search of the elusive gold nuggets.
As you can see...it paid off.
