There are a lot of cover bands in New Orleans, especially on Bourbon Street. Some people say covering a song is a dead art and some say that cover bands lack the talent to make their own definitive style. However, En Tripp has raised the standard on the genre of cover bands. These five band members, all of whom bring dedication and love to the music that they play, also bring a genuine appreciation and personal touch to the instruments they play. Moe, who is a high-energy singer, belts out the vocals to each song as if they were his own. His enthusiam keeps the crowd screaming for more. Vince works his guitar as though he were writing these hot licks for the first time. Sonny keeps the songs in check with his precise rhythms and takes over the vocals when Vince and Moe aren't rocking the crowd. Michael, though quiet in person, rattles the stage with his pounding bass notes. And last but not least, Paul, who has had both local and professional experience as a drummer, keeps the heartbeat of the band alive with his aggressive yet laid back style. Put them all together and you have En Tripp, a cover band who might as well have written the originals themselves.
