Anything that's good to dance to. I listen to electronica and foreign music the most...but everything else gets in there, R&B, trip-hop, metal. From Bjork to Massive Attack, KoRn to Lil Kim to t.A.T.u. I just love a great voice, an awesome beat, cool effects. Mosh music, rave music. Some of my favorites for the electronica fans; ATB, Above & Beyond, Dave Aude, Shpongle, Deadmau5, Ciara, Röyksopp (FUCK YES), Airbase, Shy'm, Starkillers, Hakimakli, Astral Projection, Freemasons, Markus Schulz, G. Love and Special Sauce, Narcotic Thrust, BT, IIO, Aqme, Sasha, Nadia Ali X-Cabs, Ferry Corsten, Darude, The Knife, Tom Foolery.

Damn I love movies. Anything artistic or creative...beautiful visuals matter more to me than a plot, because if you need to be told what's happening in a movie every step of the way, you're not thinking enough. Even if it's crappy in some ways...I can love it for a single cool aspect or scene (the very end of Queen of The Damned, the flower-field fight in House of Flying Daggers, when Monica Bellucci's naked body turns into snow-covered hills in Brotherhood of The Wolf). Martial arts in movies is always nice, Ong Bak, Crouching Tiger (my fave. movie of all time), Hero, etc. Darker films like Underworld, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, are the most attractive to me, but I like satirical comedies like Best In Show and Drop Dead Gorgeous too. Star Wars is epic and great. A few favorites: THE RULES OF ATTRACTION!, Jackie Brown, The Animatrix, Run Lola Run, l'Auberge Espagnole, The French Connection, X-2, I <3 Huckabees, Ghost In The Shell, Taking Lives, Mulholland Drive, The Fifth Element, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Alien, Syriana.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien is my rock. And I will always be nostalgic for the good ol' days of television: the height of MADtv, the Simpsons, and Family Guy. X-Files was genius too. I used to watch Nature programs like maddd.
 
| | Books | The Color of Distance, Giovanni's Room, 100 Years of Solitude, A Wrinkle in Time, Many Waters, Genesis, Siddhartha, the Strange Matter series (take that, Goosebumps), His Dark Materials, Planet of Twilight, Brokeback Mountain, The Hobbit, Bios. I used to read for fun...haven't much the last few years. I own EVERY Animorphs book. Such an awesome series.

Conan O'Brien is my hero for being by far the funniest man on tv, and Lorraine is my hero for her kkkrrazy antics and sheer hi-larious badassitude. My goal is to one day annoy the shit out of people via interrupting coughs and other Lorraine-like behaviors so well...that I actually BECOME her. Uh-huh-huh!

Salut bilute. I'm a language and foreign culture junkie trying to find a way to integrate my passions and my future. I'm a firm believer that any new experience is a good one, and that people should have more of them, because if you haven't noticed, people are too afraid of new things.
