MR VASCO PHANTASM/ENZYME RECORDS UK DJ ZORFLUX * LIVE = HORIZON (with ESKIMO project), ONE (with MUKUNGA UMBURA),(Plus Collaborations with Twisted Reaction, Safi Connection, Cycle Sphere, Ital, Dickster and Mindfield) * PHANTASM RECORDS/ENZYME RECORDS(sub label) Manager… Coming from Lisbon, Portugal, Vasco (ZORFLUX) has been involved in the scene of dance music for the past 15 years… Finding himself in Brighton UK, he has been promoting and playing under Phantasm and Enzyme labels. This together with running his own psychedelic shop: Illegal Records has added to his varied style and opportunities to work with labels such as Sphere records (Ajuca ) followed Phantasm records , and, Enzyme records owned and managed by the man himself… Connecting with Sphere records lead to the compilation ORBIS 2 compiled by Zorflux in 2002. In the following year he joined Phantasm Records for whom he did A&R, Sub Label manager, DJ and Live Act under the name HORIZON with Junya (ESKIMO) releasing tracks in Transient Records (Atari), Spun Records (Open your eyes), Millennium Records (Open your eyes & Rmx green ohms –jack in the box), Phantasm Records, and, Finally Enzyme Records ( First Flight ; Green Ohms RMX jack in the box ; Open your eyes (big HIT released 3 different labels) ; Turn it to dust) wish is a Sub Label of Phantasm and had first release in December of 2004… 2007 back again full power with ENZYME RECORDS releases after a break of tours and studio time. “ FREEDOM OF SPEECH “ is out from august 2007, with a special line of music to be heard in this sub label from phantasm…A blaster release for the european summer… Zorflux in 4 collaborations tracks with Cycle sphere rmx of Horizon, One(with Gil Mahadeva)Bizarre Contact Rmx, with Safi Connection and Ital(Chile). Release parties in UK with Enzyme/Phantasm party in July@Brighton & London, playing in Festivals like 07/07/07 (antiworld) and Eastern Haze, Touring August Portugal playing @after party Freedom Festival with swing agency artists ... In the other side he Promoted Enzyme Parties with collaboration with Shantiluna and Party Possible in Brighton for more then 5 years, outdoor and indoor events where he performed always like the resident and brought many young talented local UK DJ's a long with many international names from the scene, Enzyme partys were spoiled with names like John Phantasm, Eskimo, Horizon, Dickster, Green Ohms, Shift, Sesto Sento, Dimitri, Joti Sidhu (Psychaos), Dino Psaras, Tristan, Mick Chaos, Prodigal Sun, Fatali, Shane Gobi, Young, Marchello, EVP, Mark Hallen, Mat Boom and many more… highlight time in Brighton scene … Internationally he has lead to Switzerland (Happy People Productions-Zoom Team). Spain (United Tribe), (Tribe of frog) Ibiza. Cyprus & Greece for Fairy Dreams and Earthdance… Amsterdam (for boom records), Brasil played for Daime Tribe(ypy poty festival), Klatu, Psychogarden, Union, Clube A, Sun Vibe Festival, SKOL RIO (with more then 20000 people)…. In 2004 after the release of ANCIENT FUTURE compiled by ZORFLUX and produced in Team with Eskimo, under the name HORIZON came out 4 killer unreleased tracks from them plus tracks from the phantasm family team like Jumanji (Eskimo and Dick Trevor), Mindfield (John Phantasm)and Cosmosis rmx , Dynamic, Bizarre Contact and Triptych. The CD was a top Sale worldwide and was in the tops of HMV in Tokyo Japan… Zorflux was touring Japan for a month before the release, presenting in 7 different towns all over the country the ANCIENT FUTURE compilation CD under the flag of Enzyme Records and Phantasm records, Tokyo (Unitribe, Arcadia), Okkaido (S.u.n.s.), Osaka (Triple X), Hiroshima (Sage), Kagawa( Project), Kyoto(Paradis), Nagoya(Triple X) After be signed by Arcadia for the festival of the summer 2004 in Japan he back to Europe to play in France to HADRA along with Rinkadink in the Swiss Alpes. Back to Brazil tour with the Proton records team promoters he played in just promotional enzyme records parties in almost all the states in Brazil… Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Santa Catarrina, Trancoso and more… After this tour Zorflux played in Germany( Fusion festival) heading after to Mexico where he played in Cancun festival along Psysex, Cosmosis, Mukunga Umbura, Safi Connection, Gataka and many more….
