Eoin Dillon
Uileann Pipes, Tin Whistle, Low Whistle, Shakers, Vocals
Cabinet Maker by trade before he began making uilleann pipes and ultimately living from playing them. Also plays whistle low and high. Likes to swim when the weather is warm. Occasionally watches television and wonders why there are men running around chasing a ball. As a vegetarian his favorite colour is green. Favorite number is whatever is on the dice.
Founder member of Kíla and worlds first pipe psychologist, Eoin has also qualified as cabinet maker, taught woodwork on Tory Island and during his apprenticeship with Cillian Obriain (Pipemaker) made his present set of Uileann pipes. Eoin has held his own sessions up and down the country and has worked with Hector Zazu, Manus Lunny, Jane Sibbery and has played on most of the film, theatre scores recorded by Kíla.
Released "The Third Twin" in 2005 His debut solo album, recorded with Proinsis Tate on Bouzouki, Desmond Cahalan on Guitar, with Steve Larkin on Fiddle and Violin.
Eoin has held his own sessions in pubs in Dublin, Donegal and Kerry since late 80's till now.
Toured with Aoife Ní Fhearraigh - 1995-96.
Toured Sweden with Mála - 1994.
Milkman from 1983 to 1989.

Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.

FairplayCollective's Michael Brunnock has teamed up with his old band Little Palace and have just released a single entitled "Eviction" and can be down loaded at www.downloadmusic.ie
They have also released their third album called Invitation Time and is available in all good music stores.
Little Palace will be touring Ireland to support the release of their album and can be seen/heard at these venues.
